Dear Friends:
It’s that time again!
For the past eleven years, we have taken young men, (ages 11 to 18) to Penn State for the Blue-White game. This is done through the Community Refuge Education and Recreation Center—a non-profit organization in central New Jersey.
This year, we are hosting the sixth annual Blue-White Scholarship Breakfast. This fund-raising event is held the morning of the Blue-White game on Saturday, April 16th at the Nittany Lion Inn in State College, PA.
For the past few years, our speakers at the breakfast have been outstanding! We’ve had former Penn Staters such as DJ Dozier, Andre Collins, and Adam Taliaferro. We are expecting another exciting event this year!
We will also be hosting a silent auction during the breakfast featuring autographed items from former Penn Staters.
Tickets for the breakfast/silent auction are just $25. We would be thrilled to have you attend and meet some of our really special young people.
We have made it very simple to either purchase tickets for the event, or make a donation. Click here to make a donation, and Click here to purchase tickets to the breakfast (via the Paypal service). Tickets to the breakfast can be purchased at the door. However, please let us know in advance if you intend to come so that we can properly prepare.
Or you can mail a check, payable to ‘Community Refuge Education Center’ to:
